Watch: Slovakia shock England with breakthrough goal in first half of elimination match

Euro Tournament favorite England is currently in danger of being sent home early.

Slovakian forward Ivan Schranz shocked England fans as he slipped past the entire defense to send a well-placed ball past goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to give his country an early 1-0 lead.

England had scored first in each of its matches at Euro 2024. Slovakia, meanwhile, continued its streak of scoring within the first 30 minutes of its matches with Schranz's 25th minute strike.

Schranz is now tied with Germany's Jamal Musiala and Georgia's Georges Mikautadze as the tournament's top scorers with three goals apiece.

If Slovakia pulls off the major upset, it would advance to play Switzerland in the quarterfinals, which are set to take place July 5-6.
