Watch: Yankees' Aaron Judge blasts 444-foot home run in loss vs. Rays

Outfielder Aaron Judge remains a bright spot on a New York Yankees team that has spiraled recently.

At the bottom of the seventh inning against the Tampa Bay Rays with the Yankees trailing 5-0, Judge crushed an 80 mph sweeper from relief pitcher Jason Adam for a 444-foot, three-run home run.

The Yankees dropped their second straight game against Tampa Bay despite Judge going 2-of-4 in the 6-4 loss.

Judge could win his second American League MVP this season. Through 99 games, he leads the majors in homers (35), RBI (89) and OPS (1.116). The 32-year-old can't continue to carry New York, however, which has posted a 4-6 record over its last 10 games.

The Yankees (59-42) should consider making moves before the trade deadline on July 30 at 6 p.m. ET. Joel Reuter of Bleacher Report suggested they target Los Angeles Angels third baseman Luis Rengifo and Miami Marlins relief pitcher Tanner Scott to address their issues at the plate and mound.
