The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly set a sky-high asking price for Giannis Antetokounmpo, as they should.
Even so, that hasn't scared suitors away from trying to make a run at the former Finals MVP.
According to the latest reports, the Golden State Warriors have been Giannis' most aggressive suitor over the past week or so, and they also have the best potential trade package to offer.
That's why it's not much of a surprise to hear that the word around NBA players is that Giannis will end up in the Bay Area.
In a streaming session with renowned YouTuber Neon, Phoenix Suns guard Dillon Brooks revealed that he's heard Giannis will be traded to the Warriors.
“I heard the Warriors, bro,” Brooks said.
The former Memphis Grizzlies star also guessed they would have to move on from Draymond Green to get it done.
“Bro, that’d be so crazy,” Brooks stated. “To get a screen and roll with them. You’re running off to [expletive] Steph to try to get a 3, throws it to Giannis for a dunk. Just imagine you have Giannis there instead of Draymond [Green] working that two-man game.”
The Warriors could also try to get rid of Jonathan Kuminga and end their months-long feud, or they could ship Jimmy Butler away.
Then again, it's hard to believe the Bucks would want anything to do with Butler's $50+ million contract coming off a season-ending injury at 36 years old.
