Charles Barkley knows who will win the Knicks-Spurs NBA Finals

The New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs are officially in the NBA Finals, and the two teams will meet at the Frost Bank Center on Wednesday for Game 1 of what's shaping up to be an exciting series.

Charles Barkley is a man of many opinions, and he's not shy about sharing them. During an appearance on Freddie Coleman and Harry Douglas' show on ESPN Radio on Tuesday, Barkley picked a definitive winner of this series.

Now, it's just Barkley's opinion, but considering Barkley is one of the most legendary NBA players of all time, it's worth a listen.

Charles Barkley says whether the Knicks or Spurs will win the Finals

On the show, Barkley said that the Knicks will win the NBA Finals in six games. He also called these two teams meeting together a "perfect storm."

"We get the New York Knicks, which is crazy, and we get a guy who actually owns the country in Victor Wembanyama. So for us to get this, it really is, I'm being honest, it's like a perfect storm. So I cannot wait. I'm excited," he said.

The Spurs have Wembanyama, but the Knicks have Jalen Brunson. During the Knicks' sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals, Brunson had a stellar showing, averaging 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists. He also scored the Eastern Conference Finals MVP award.

The fact that Barkley has the Finals going to Game 6 means that he knows it'll be tight. Don't expect a sweep or blowout. It should make for fantastic basketball viewing, no matter which team you'd like to see win.
