It's been a while since we last saw Patrick Mahomes play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The former MVP suffered a season-ending ACL tear late in the regular season, and while he's always aimed for Week 1 and looked sharp and mobile in training camp, there still wasn't an official announcement about his availability.

Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid had already hinted at his playing with no limitations. But after weeks of speculation, Mahomes ended all doubts with a clip on Instagram and a three-word caption:

“See you Monday.”

The black-and-white clip features Mahomes as a hunter getting ready to strike his prey, hyping up the fans with a dramatic message:
