Caitlin Clark sends emotional message to Fever fans after win

After the win, Clark caught up with Holly Rowe to talk about the moment. She shared an emotional message and thanked the fans and her teammates for making the victory possible.

"Just proud of this group, and just thankful for these fans," she told Rowe, as shared by the Fever on social media.

The Lynx weren't at full strength against the Fever. Olivia Miles was ruled out not long before the game due to a left calf injury.

"It changes a lot, certainly, because she's the head of the snake," Fever coach Stephanie White said before the matchup, according to ESPN. "It changes coverage. It changes who their primary ball handler is. Probably the actions that they run. So, we've got to just be prepared for that."

Well, the Fever were certainly prepared, and they prevailed. Their next game is on Thursday, again against the Lynx, this time on the road. No word yet on whether Miles will be playing in that game.
