Ex-Steelers player calls out issues between Aaron Rodgers, Mike McCarthy

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ new chapter with Mike McCarthy as the head coach and Aaron Rodgers as the quarterback has gotten off to a rough start.

Through two games, the Steelers are 1-1, although they have scored a total of 23 points. The offense has struggled, and former Pittsburgh offensive lineman Willie Colon called out McCarthy and Rodgers for having some disconnect early on this season.

“Look, the Steelers are trying to figure out do they have an offense that their quarterback, coach and offensive line can execute together,” Colon said during an episode of “Good Morning Football.”

“On one hand, you’re hearing Mike McCarthy saying, ‘We gotta dial it back. It’s too much volume. We gotta simplify this thing.’ And Aaron’s simply saying, ‘No, we gotta execute better and we gotta be adults.’ So there’s a disconnect there.”
