Missed out on your chance to buy a 2025-2026 Indy Pass? You’re in luck. It’s going back on sale on August 28, 2025, at noon Eastern Time, for a short time while supplies last.
Those who’ve already joined the waitlist for the popular multi-pass will get first dibs before the sale opens to the general public.
To reduce crowding at its partner ski areas, the Indy Pass limits the number of passes it sells each season. The Indy Pass reported record sales last spring and sold out in only ten days after first becoming available on March 1, 2025.
But the company has opted to make more 2025-2026 passes available because it’s adding new ski areas to its program, which increases capacity.
"Dozens" of new ski areas will be announced on August 28, 2025, when the Indy Pass becomes available again. They include mountains in the United States, Canada, Austria, France, Slovenia, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Scotland, and Japan.
The 2025-2026 Indy Pass will remain available to purchase until capacity is met.

The Indy Pass is also introducing a new pass, the Learn-to-Turn Pass, which includes three days of skiing, rentals, and lessons for $189 at participating ski areas. The Learn-to-Turn Pass will remain available to purchase the upcoming ski season.
Current Indy Pass holders will receive two referral codes to share with friends or family that reduce the cost of the Learn-to-Turn Pass to $149.
“Everyone in skiing is searching for the holy grail of skier development, and Indy Pass will attempt to move the needle by keeping it cheap, simple, and widely accessible,” said Doug Fish, the founder of the Indy Pass.
Fish added that the Indy Pass is recruiting ski areas to participate in the Learn-to-Turn program and hopes to add more in the coming years.
Billed as an alternative to the dominant Ikon and Epic Passes, the Indy Pass offers skiers two days of access to more than 250 independent ski areas each. Many, like Hurricane Ridge, Washington, and Cape Smokey, Nova Scotia, are lesser known.
One of the pass’s main selling points is that, at these ski areas, skiers won’t encounter the crowds they might find at major mountain destinations.
