Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez was delighted for home fans after victory over Real Betis.

Celta won 2-1 with young Swede Williot Swedberg netting the winner scoring six minutes into injury time.

"I have a lot of confidence in him," Benitez said of Swedberg.

"He is young, he trains phenomenally, he works very well, he has a great future but you have to go step by step. I'm sure he is very happy and we are as happy as him or more."

On the victory, he continued: "It has been a great satisfaction and giving an award to both the players, who have worked so hard, and the fans who have suffered as much as we have.

"This is a marathon and you have to think that you have to continue running more than three teams. It is an important step for the team's confidence."

Celta goalkeeper Ivan Villar was sent off as a non-playing substitute.

Benitez also said: "I told the referee that Ivn Villar had not said anything to him. What happened is that since there were yells there, he turned around and expelled the first person he saw who was yelling."
