LaLiga great Donati says Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr should use the barracking of fans as motivation.

The former Deportivo La Coruna and Atletico Madrid midfielder has commented on Vini Jr's teary Brazil media conference on Tuesday.

Donati told Marca: "There is racism all over the world, but here in Spain I cannot say that it is a racist country, because the treatment I received was always exquisite. On the field I have had many fights with players, who told me 'black of this, black of such', but that didn't bother me, in the end everything stayed on the field. Each one marked their territory, but when we left the field we were all friends. Outside the field, there were the fans, but I always passed by them."

Regarding Vini, he also said: "I feel sorry for him, people are picking on him. I've seen him crying, it's complicated. I would really like to help him, but in our time they called us everything, and I was like 'okay, you want problems, then let's play', and it was settled on the field. With the fans I didn't have that problem. When I was at Deportivo La Corua and the winger was running and the people were making monkey noises at me, I laughed and because Mauro Silva was blacker than me (laughs). I am not in favor of racism, but against it, but in the case of Vincius, in the match against Valencia, there were more black players on the field.

"Why did they only mess with him, why don't they mess with the others? It's an implication that he will have to solve by playing football. Envy is going to get bigger and bigger, the way to provoke... If I were Vincius the more they whistle at me, the more I want to play and score goals, and that makes people forget about you. If every time they insulted me the game would stop... it's complicated."
