Villarreal striker Alexander Sorloth insists Erling Haaland would succeed in LaLiga.

Many are questioning the Manchester City striker this week after he failed to score in both legs of their Champions League quarterfinal defeat to Real Madrid.

"I don't think there are that big differences between the different leagues today. I think it's just the media saying that, believe me, I've played in England, Germany and Spain. And it's really not that different. Of course Haaland could have adapted to Spain," says Srloth to Relevo of his Norway teammate.

"When you are a fantastic player like Haaland, you have to adapt to the team, but the team also has to adapt to you.

"I don't know if you remember when Zlatan came to Spain, he tried to adapt to Barcelona, but Barcelona also needed to adapt to him in many ways. With Haaland it would have been the same. Let's say he comes to a team in Spain, he would have had to adapt, yes, but the team would have had to adapt to him as well to get the best out of his qualities."
