There has been a second source now claiming that Chelsea are willing to sell one of their key first team players this summer window.
This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.
The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.
Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!
A surprise report came out yesterday suggesting that Chelsea would sell winger Noni Madueke during this summers transfer window.
Madueke, who made 41 appearances for Chelsea this season, is perhaps not at the top of many Chelsea fans list of players they want to see sold this window, so it’s come as a bit of a shock really.
But they aren’t the only outlet reporting that Madueke could be sold this summer.
The Daily Mail are also reporting that Chelsea are understood to be open to offers for Noni Madueke.
The England winger joined from PSV Eindhoven in 2023 and scored 11 goals in all competitions last season but the report claims that Chelsea are willing to ‘sacrifice him’ alongside Christopher Nkunku and João Félix, who is a target for Benfica, as they look to freshen up their attacking options this summer.
Not a great choice of words there, people!?
