Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez has been training hard ahead of Saturday’s Derby d’Italia clash between Juventus and Inter Milan.

The talented striker returned from international duty with Argentina on Thursday and immediately immersed himself in full training.

According to reports from the Corriere dello Sport, via FcInter1908, the Argentine is determined to be as prepared as possible for the Inter game against Juventus.

The reports claim that the derby will motivate Lautaro to recover his physical and mental energy.

Martinez will have just two training sessions with his teammates to prepare to face Juventus.

Yesterday he worked individually to run off some of his fatigue from international duty.

The Argentine will participate in full training today with his teammates before the squad depart for Turin.

Lautaro aims to get the Nerazzurri get back on track after their disappointing loss to Udinese before the break.

Finally, the Derby d’Italia kicks off at 18:00 Italian time on Saturday evening.
