Arsenal are reportedly close to finalising the signing of Eberechi Eze, with the transfer expected to be completed today. The deal, however, is not anticipated to mark the end of their summer business, as the club continue to work on reshaping their squad.

Eze had been on course to join Tottenham Hotspur, but Arsenal intervened to secure his signature in a move that could prove significant in the context of the season. Spurs’ acquisition of the attacker might have strengthened their top four credentials, but the Gunners’ decisive action has ensured that the talented forward will be lining up at the Emirates instead.

Strengthening the Attack

Eze will join a group of high-quality attacking players already at the club, and he is expected to contribute immediately to their pursuit of silverware.
