Ayden Heaven is one of many Manchester United players trying to prove themselves currently as the 2024-25 season progresses.
Heaven, who broke into the men’s first-team last season, has been a part of the youth academy at Arsenal and recently revealed that the Rangers game in the UEFA Europa League was the reason he chose United over the Gunners.
However, his spell at the Red Devils has not been smooth sailing with the defender having to be stretchered off in training earlier this year.
But, with this injury now behind him, the 19-year-old could look to further his development as he strives to attract Thomas Tuchel’s attention and be picked for the England senior team, following news that he prefers to pursue a call-up to England’s senior team over Ghana.
Now, Heaven has been reflecting on his time at Manchester United so far and has praised manager Ruben Amorim in his comments.
As seen in his interview on the official United website, Heaven stated: “He’s a brilliant manager.
“He’s always reassuring me and helping me improve.
“He’s a great guy as well off the pitch, and I’m going to love to continue working with him.
“It helps a lot to know that the manager cares about you and that he takes his time to come and speak to you. It’s good.”
With Heaven’s praise for Amorim now public, fans may look to the manager to see if he hands the defender more opportunities in the coming weeks.
Furthermore, attention could turn towards the media to see how they react to the comments made by Ayden Heaven.
However, in the meantime, the 19-year-old may look to continue improving and learning from Amorim and his coaching team in the coming weeks and months.
