Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge tonight for their next Premier League match, and it’s once again become a crucial game for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

A defeat against Wolves on Christmas Eve has once again heaped pressure on the Argentine manager, and their current league position simply must improve now as we embark on the second half of the season.

The Blues boss has some selection problems ahead of the game tonight, and his starting Xl selection is an absolute lottery at this stage.

One player who they are sweating on and will hope can start tonight is key midfielder Moises Caicedo. He missed the Wolves game with a high fever, and Pochettino will be hoping that he will be fully recovered in time to start the game later today.

Enzo Fernandez and Lesley Ugochukwu are both injured, Romeo Lavia will not be risked yet from the start, and Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer are both suspended.

But according to The BBC, Chelsea are hopeful that Caicedo will recover from illness in time to face Crystal Palace.
