Como coach Cesc Fabregas feels that the quality in the Inter Milan squad is especially apparent when watching the team live.

Fabregas spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, after yesterday’s Serie A match between the Lariani and the Nerazzurri.

Como hosted Inter Milan in Serie A yesterday.

The newly-promoted side were looking to end their memorable season with a bang. They had long secured top flight safety – but would have certainly loved to have gotten a statement win over the defending champions.

Inter played a fairly heavily rotated team. Therefore, they perhaps gave Como some hope of securing the result.

However, the Nerazzurri were able to get the job done.

On a night when they needed to both get a result in Como – and also hope that Napoli wouldn’t beat Cagliari – Inter did get the three points they were looking for.

However, the Partenopei also did their bit. Therefore, Inter’s win in Como was not enough to secure them the title for a second season in a row.

Como: “Inter Milan A Strong Team, You Can See The Level Live”

After the final whistle yesterday, Como coach Cesc Fabregas admitted that “it was a strange match.”

“We were against a very strong team. Even watching them live in person, you can see they have very high-level players.”

“We tried,” Cesc Fabregas continued.”

“We got about ten shots on goal. Against Inter, that’s not easy.”

Then, the Como coach commented that “it wasn’t the best match.”

“I can’t say that we deserved to win. But the guys always try.”

“We’re a team that, with a man disadvantage, focuses on defending. But we did well to try, and this is our mentality.”

“Matches like this make you grow,” the Como coach added.
