Cristiano Ronaldo to star in major drama series

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has had plenty of dramatic moments in his career.

From match-winning goals to shocking red card moments, the former Manchester United icon has been involved in his fair share of controversy.

The 41-year-old has already featured in multiple TV and documentary-style shows, including I Am Georgina, Captains of the World and animated project Striker Force 7.

Ronaldo is set to take to people’s screens once again, this time in a new British TV series.

According to The Sun, Cristiano Ronaldo is to produce and star in a major drama series about British football, called ‘Day 1s’.

Filming has already begun on the show that follows the tale of a top football agent called Stanley Dalton, played by Homelands and Billions star, 55-year-old actor Damian Lewis.

The story is based on a concept devised by another of the show’s executive producers, real-life agent Darren Dein, 52, who represents Henry, the report discloses.

The show will be made by UR-Marv Studios, which Ronaldo runs with top director Matthew Vaughn, and will also star British rapper Dave and newcomer Carlotta Banat.

It’s yet another interesting venture from football’s first billionaire and superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 41-year-old scored three goals in the recent 2026 World Cup and continues to play for Saudi side Al Nassr. Following a career in Europe with Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, the Portugal star remains busy with his various opportunities.

The former Manchester United man, who played in two stints at Old Trafford, clearly has an excellently astute team keeping the CR7 brand in high demand. As one of the highest-profile sportsmen of all time, publicity is easy to come by.

The new show starring Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to interest Manchester United fans, though it doesn’t yet seem clear when it will hit screens.
