David Eze signing completed by Manchester United

Whilst the transfer window is closed, Manchester United are continuing to make moves in order to strengthen their squad.

The latest of those moves has seen them complete the signing of David Eze.

His arrival at the club follows a hectic transfer window for United, focused on recruitment in the middle of the park, where Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and Carlos Baleba all signed permanent deals.

Karl Darlow also arrived at the club, helping to replace the outgoing Radek Vitek, in a move that further strengthened Michael Carrick’s options in the goalkeeper position.

Academy Scoop have now revealed that formal clarity has been given with the Premier League’s ratification process, which is required when clubs make new signings, now completed.

Several top clubs were interested in Eze’s services, too, according to the source, who is now expected to be Manchester United’s last piece of academy-level business confirmed this summer.

The signing of David Eze from Manchester City represents a major scoop for The Red Devils, and one that holds the potential for huge long-term benefits.

United’s focus will now been centralised around ensuring the the midfielder is settling into life at the club well whilst subsequently ensuring that his start in the Academy is the best it can be.
