Reports in Italy claim that Kevin De Bruyne has given his approval over a potential transfer to Napoli during the summer transfer window, after a 10-year spell in the Premier League with Manchester City.
The Belgium international will be leaving Manchester at the end of his City contract in June, and reports over the last few weeks suggest that he is now close to completing a move to Serie A title-hopefuls Napoli on a free transfer.
Reports from Sky Sport Italia, and reports from Belgium claim that De Bruyne has now given his ‘total approval’ to a move to Napoli this summer.
De Bruyne’s personal and family life has been a key part of the decision making process, and Friday’s reports claim that he is satisfied his personal demands will be met in Naples. The player’s wife has recently been to visit the city as well.
There is still no final agreement in place on personal terms. Sky suggests that it will now be down to Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis as to whether Napoli will close the deal or not.
