Galatasaray haven’t yet provided Napoli with the required guarantees to sign Victor Osimhen, while Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis expects the striker’s transfer fee to be paid within a year.
There’s still no breakthrough in negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray for Osimhen.
The Nigeria international has recently turned down a new approach from Al-Hilal and only wants to return to Galatasaray.
However, the Turkish giants haven’t yet given the required guarantees to sign the Nigerian forward.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that Napoli President De Laurentiis wants circa €50m to be paid immediately, while the remaining €25m can be paid within a year.
The Partenopei owner could even accept a lower fixed fee to be paid this summer as long as the full sum is covered in the next 12 months.
The deal is still on, even if negotiations between the two clubs have been longer than most of the media expected, while Football Italia reported last week that an agreement between the clubs would not be straightforward.
