Man United could consider Garnacho sale for the right offer, exit ‘possible’

In one of football’s most extraordinary comebacks, Manchester United fought from two goals down to score three against Lyon in an unbelievable five minutes. It was an amazing example of fighting spirit and never giving in. Alejandro Garnacho played a major role in getting Manchester United to this point, but the news coming from Fabrizio Romano in his most recent GIVEMESPORT exclusive stated that while it is ‘possible’ for Garnacho to leave Manchester United this summer, at this point, his exit is not concrete.

Updates from January suggested that Manchester United could be open to selling Alejandro Garnacho, if the right offer came in. This would help raise FIFA PSR limits, and United are still probably in the same position as they head towards the summer transfer window. While the 20-year-old has had a difficult season, along with United and many of his teammates, he may no longer be regarded as “untouchable” at Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim is reportedly waiting for Garnacho to show consistency, especially in the No. 10 position within his preferred 3-4-3 system.

The Argentinian might be headed somewhere else

Garnacho encapsulated his season during Manchester United’s thrilling 5-4 win over Lyon on Thursday night. Bursting through on goal with a golden opportunity to make it 3-0 and effectively seal the game, he failed to capitalise, firing his shot straight at goalkeeper Lucas Perri.

Romano reveals fresh Garnacho update in the latest GIVEMESPORT newsletter

‘It all depends on Financial Fair Play; with a good proposal for all parties, it might be a possibility. But there’s nothing concrete at this stage, zero.’

GIVEMESPORT reported recently indicated that Manchester United might approach Napoli to determine whether their interest in signing Alejandro Garnacho still stands, following the club’s previous enquiries in January. With Ruben Amorim reportedly open to the idea of parting ways with the winger, United appear to be exploring their options.

At the same time, Italian reports claim that the Red Devils have lowered their asking price for the Argentine talent,,, from £51 million in January to around £38.5 million this summer…. a surprising development considering Garnacho’s high potential and the three years left on his current deal.

United’s squad looks set for another major overhaul this summer, and Garnacho could emerge as one of the high-profile departures… but only if an acceptable offer lands on the table for his services. The Argentinian does have a couple of years more on his plate for United.
