Bologna defender Sam Beukema is set to have his Napoli medical on Wednesday, as there were slight delays based on commission and the payment schedule.

As expected, the fee ultimately to be paid including add-ons will be around €30m and there are no problems between the clubs.

Beukema needs commission details resolved

The only reason Beukema hasn’t set off yet, as confirmed by Football Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, is that his representatives are working out the payment schedule for their commission as part of the transfer.

Originally, the plan had been for both the Dutchman and Noa Lang to undergo their medicals by today.

While Lang did have his tests this morning for the transfer from PSV Eindhoven, set at €25m plus add-ons, Beukema was pushed back to Wednesday to get all the paperwork completed first.

Napoli tend to have their medical tests performed at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome rather than in their own facilities in Naples.
