Reports in Italy claim that Fiorentina are in direct contact with Inter to discuss a potential deal for midfielder Kristjan Asllani, who will be allowed to leave San Siro under the right circumstances this summer.
According to reports from Marco Conterio and TMW, Fiorentina have been in direct talks with Inter over the last few hours to discuss a deal for Asllani, who is among Stefano Pioli’s list of ideal midfield recruits this summer.
La Viola have also been considering moves for Parma’s Adrian Bernabe, but the Spaniard reportedly would prefer to stay where he is for another season, and for Bayer Leverkusen’s Hugo Larsson, whose asking price is considered too steep.
For those reasons, Fiorentina have decided to push forwards in an attempt to sign Asllani from Inter, who have already brought in Petar Sucic this summer, who operates in a similar role to Asllani.
Tuesday’s reports claim that a price tag of €15m should be enough to convince Inter into selling.
There has also been interest in Asllani from Real Betis and from Bologna, but the former is unlikely to be an option moving forwards, as the Albanian would prefer to stay in Serie A where possible.
