Silvio Baldini has named his 24-man Italy squad for June friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece, but four more players will be training with the Azzurri in Coverciano in the coming days.
Italy are due to face Luxembourg on June 3 and Greece on June 7 in the last games of the season, after failing to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Caretaker coach Baldini has named his 24-man squad, giving 19 players their first call-up at the senior level.
As confirmed by the Italian FA, four more players will join the Azzurri at Coverciano over the next few days to prepare for the upcoming friendlies.
They are Tommaso Berti (Cesena), Niccolò Fortini (Fiorentina), Gabriele Guarino (Empoli), and Dominic Vavassori (Atalanta), who will train with the rest of the team from Thursday, May 28, to Sunday, May 31.
Italy players will arrive in Coverciano on May 28 to begin preparations for the upcoming friendlies.
Italy’s last appearance at the World Cup was 12 years ago during Brazil 2014.
