Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Ivory Coast International Evan Ndicka.

The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Roma last season, and his performances have attracted the attention of Manchester United as well. According to a report from RMC Sport, Tottenham and Manchester United have made enquiries for the player.

It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official offer to sign him. Ndicka has shown his ability in Italy, and he has the physicality to succeed in England as well. Tottenham need more defensive depth, and the Ivorian could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition.

Evan Ndicka could fancy Premier League move

Ndicka is entering the peak years of his career and will look to compete at a high level. Tottenham could provide him with the platform he needs. They will be able to offer him Champions League football and the opportunity to fight for trophies.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League next season will be hard to turn down for the 25-year-old defender. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can secure his signature.

Tottenham have been linked with the player in the past as well.

Man United keen on the defender

The player is also on the radar of Manchester United. They have looked vulnerable defensively over the last few months, and they need to tighten up at the back. Signing a quality central defender will be a priority for the Red Devils.

The defender is valued at €40 million (£34m), and both clubs have the finances to pay up. It remains to be seen whether they agree to pay his asking price.

Tottenham and Manchester United are among the biggest clubs in England, and the opportunity to play for them will be quite exciting for most players. It would be the ideal next step in the career of the Ivorian defender. He would get to test himself at a high level if he joined either of the two English clubs.
