Galatasaray coach Orkan Buruk feels that it’s “normal” Inter Milan would have high demands on a fee for Hakan Calhanoglu.

Buruk spoke to Turkish outlet Sporx, via FCInterNews. He addressed the links between his club and Calhanoglu.

Reportedly, it’s now looking as though Hakan Calhanoglu will stay at Inter Milan.

Turkish giants Galatasaray have been preparing to try and sign the midfielder for weeks. That has hardly been a secret.

However, Galatasaray lack the necessary financial resources to move for Calhanoglu due to their efforts to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent basis from Napoli.

Therefore, it now looks very improbable that Galatasaray will be able to agree a deal with Inter.

Galatasaray Coach Buruk: “Normal For Inter To Expect Big Money For Calhanoglu”

Galatasaray coach Orkan Buruk gave his thoughts on Calhanoglu. “Everyone wants to sign him,” he said. “He’s one of the best midfielders in Europe.”

“I’ve known him since he was sixteen,” the Galatasaray coach said of Calhanoglu.

“His love for Galatasaray is immense.”

Then, Buruk noted that Calhanoglu “currently plays for a team that expect significant revenue.”

“If you’re selling a player of that calibre, then you have to pay a lot of money for a player of the same calibre.”

Therefore, Buruk said that “Inter’s expectations are normal.”
