Ange Postecoglou is facing an uncertain future at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is facing an uncertain future at N17. The Australian is enduring a tough season at the helm and it is likely that he might be relieved from his duties in the summer. The Lilywhites are sitting 16th in the Premier League table and have registered 19 league losses. Ange Postecoglou’s men are well on their way to record the club’s lowest ever points tally in a single Premier League season.

However, not all is doom and gloom at N17. The North London club has reached the Europa League final after a comprehensive win against Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals. Spurs now face Manchester United for the trophy in Bilbao. The club manager Ange Postecoglou has the chance to end the Tottenham’s long-standing trophy drought this season.

The ex-Celtic boss is still expected to be replaced at the end of the season, irrespective of the outcome in the Europa League final. Big Ange will look to end the season on a high and win the club’s first European trophy in 41 years. Daniel Levy has a crucial decision to make regarding the 59-year-old’s future. Fans will also hope that the right step is taken by the club.

Ally McCoist gives verdict on Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has run his race at N17. Daniel Levy will replace the ex-Celtic boss with a new manager. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner are shortlisted as potential replacements if Big Ange is let go in the summer. Daniel Levy is also leaning towards a new manager for next season as Spurs look to start fresh.

Now, Ally McCoist has given his verdict on Ange Postecoglou’s future at Spurs. Speaking to talkSPORT BET (as transcribed by Express), McCoist said,

“Something tells me that if Ange Postecoglou wins Tottenham the Europa League, he’ll say he’s done his job and call it a day at Spurs. I hope he stays, but I’m not sure he wants to. It’s just a hunch, I’ve got no idea what Ange will do, but I just have a feeling he’ll move on after delivering on his promise of winning a trophy in his second season – that is, if he does win it!”

Ally McCoist suggests that Ange Postecoglou will voluntarily leave Tottenham if he wins the Europa League this season. The ex-Spurs players also insists that he wants Big Ange to stay, but he feels that the Australian will call it a day at N17 after delivering on his promise to win a trophy in the second season.

It is going to be an anxious wait for the Tottenham fans this month, as no one knows what the future hold for Ange Postecoglou. As suggested earlier, the Lilywhites have already started looking for managerial replacements as Daniel Levy wants to act quick and prepare for the worst outcome.

But Spurs have already hit a stumbling block in their pursuit of Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola. Reports suggest that the Spaniard wants to stay at Vitality Stadium in the summer and snub Tottenham’s approach. This is not going to go down well with the Spurs fans. Daniel Levy will also come under pressure to get the right decision regarding Big Ange’s future.
