Napoli are one of the busiest sides in Serie A this transfer window following the arrivals of Kevin De Bruyne, Luca Marianucci, Noa Lang and shortly Lorenzo Lucca as well, but reports indicate that Antonio Conte and his team are still expecting more incomings.

Here is a look at how the Partenopei could line up with their string of new recruits in the 2025-26 season.

Napoli’s summer transfer window so far

Napoli pounced early in the summer transfer window to land deals for Marianucci and more interestingly De Bruyne after his 10-year spell with Manchester City came to an end.

Lang is the next arrival for the Partenopei. The 26-year-old winger has completed his medical in Italy as of Tuesday, while a deal for Udinese striker Lucca is also expected to be completed in the near future.

They add to an attacking department that already contains Romelu Lukaku, David Neres, Matteo Politano and Giacomo Raspadori, all of whom were regulars in the 2024-25 Scudetto-winning season.

What’s more is that Napoli are expected to bring in even more new additions this season, with Sam Beukema still expected to come in from Bologna, a potential deal with Torino for Vanja Milinkovic-Savic in the offing, and Conte is also said to be targeting the signing of two wingers this window – Lang and one more.

How Napoli could line up after a summer of spending

With a return to the Champions League also waiting for Napoli in 2025-26, adding quality in depth to the squad has been a priority this window.

With the arrival of Lang, Napoli now have two specialist left wingers with Neres. It is a similar situation at centre-forward with Lukaku and Lucca, and with another new winger expected to come in, Matteo Politano will finally have some competition out on the right wing as well.

The signing of De Bruyne brings undoubted quality and experience to the Napoli midfield, which already contains the 2024-25 Serie A player of the year in Scott McTominay, plus one of the division’s highest-rated holding midfielders in Stanislav Lobotka.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has recently extended his contract until 2027, although it remains to be seen whether he will still be with the Partenopei by the end of the summer transfer window.

Billy Gilmour was also trusted with more and more opportunities as a starter towards the end of the 2024-25 season.

And, at the back, the expected signing of Beukema will make for an exciting centre-back pairing with Alessandro Buongiorno, with Amir Rrahmani still on the club’s books and Marianucci considered an option for the future.

There could even be competition for a starting position between the sticks if Napoli pull off a deal for Milinkovic-Savic as well.

Here is a look at how the Partenopei could line up with their new recruits next season.

Potential Napoli XI in 2025-26
