Inter Milan ace Federico Dimarco delivered another underwhelming defensive performance in last night’s game against Monza.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Italian wingback made yet another defensive error, which led to Monza’s goal.

Cristian Chivu fielded the star wingback from the first minute, yet Dimarco’s showing flattered to deceive.

Though his cross led to Samuele Birindelli’s own goal, he was the one to blame for Monza’s opener.

Indeed, Patrick Ciurria slipped his mark before beating Josep Martinez from point-blank range.

Federico Dimarco Commits Another Defensive Error in Inter Milan vs Monza Game

Completely unmarked inside the six-yard box, Ciurria had no problems beating the Spanish goalkeeper.

However, the question remains – what was Federico Dimarco doing?

In his defence, the 27-year-old atoned with a vivid attacking performance.

Yet, it wasn’t enough to mask his defensive shortcomings.

Furthermore, Benjamin Pavard joined Dimarco in this category with an erratic display off the bench.

Perhaps distracted by Galatasaray’s alleged interest, the Frenchman struggled since coming on.

Indeed, he was the main culprit for Paulo Azzi’s late equalizer.
