Few would have predicted such a rise but the progression of Matteo Spinacce from Inter Milan’s youth system to the U23 squad is impressive.

The 19-year-old forward has quickly become a key figure for Stefano Vecchi’s Inter U23 side, adapting to the step up with composure and maturity beyond his years, as noted by FCInterNews.

In just nine appearances across Serie C and the Coppa Italia Serie C, not all of them full matches, Spinacce has already scored three goals and provided two assists, showcasing his sharp movement and instinct in front of goal.

His blend of physical presence and intelligence has made him a constant threat at this higher level.

Inter Plot Move For Spinacce Into Nerazzurri First Team

Unsurprisingly, satisfaction at Viale della Liberazione is high.

Inter have huge faith in Spinacce’s potential, extending his contract until 2029 and turning down summer approaches from Südtirol and Frosinone.

The hope is that this season in Serie C can help him develop further, earning attention from higher divisions and potentially paving the way to the senior team.

Or, at the very least, making him one of the club’s most valuable young assets.
