Inter Milan have narrowed the financial gap on Juventus after securing an improved sponsorship deal with Nike.
According to FCInter1908, Inter’s new agreement with Nike promises to bring in significantly higher annual revenue.
Inter and Nike extended their long-standing partnership in the summer of 2023, agreeing to continue working together until 2031.
Furthermore, the new deal is worth around €28 million per season, making it the second-highest in Serie A.
Despite receiving more favorable terms, Inter’s deal with the United States sportswear giant lags well behind Juventus.
Indeed, the Turin heavyweights’ agreement with Adidas pours an eye-watering €46m per year into the club’s coffers.
Therefore, Inter still face a significant financial challenge to catch up with Juventus.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are third in the pecking order thanks to their €25m deal with Puma.
However, those agreements cannot compete with teams from other traditional top-five leagues.
For instance, Real Madrid’s partnership with Adidas generates around €120m annually.
Then, there’s Manchester City’s new deal with Puma worth approximately €115m per season.
