Is Lionel Messi Playing Tonight for Inter Miami vs Nashville SC?

Inter Miami's last regular MLS game will be against Nashville SC at GEODIS Park. Inter Miami last played against Atlanta United at home in Chase Stadium.

Inter Miami secured a 4-0 win over Atlanta United with a great performance from Lionel Messi. Messi scored a brace and provided an assist in Inter Miami's win.

He played during the international break despite being called up for the Argentina national team for two friendly matches against Venezuela and Puerto Rico. Messi missed the friendly match against Venezuela to play for Inter Miami last week.

Messi trained with the Argentina national team ahead of the Atlanta United game, which surprised fans as he decided to play for Inter Miami over the weekend.

Messi returned to the Argentina national team after playing for Inter Miami against Atlanta United. Messi played the full match against Puerto Rico, where he provided two assists in Argentina's 6-0 win.

Despite concerns about Messi's high number of playing time with Inter Miami and Argentina, the Argentine star continues to appear fit and ready for the match against Nashville.

Lionel Messi Expected to Start for Inter Miami

Inter Miami head coach Javier Mascherano confirmed that Lionel Messi will be available for the match against Nashville SC. Messi trained with the rest of the Inter Miai team before making the trip to Nashville.

Messi appeared with the team, taking a plane to Nashville for the away game at GEODIS Park. The Argentina star was seen with Luis Suarez, getting ready to travel for the match.

Messi will be playing for the MLS top goalscorer award as he currently leads with 26 goals. He currently has a two-goal advantage over LAFC's Denis Bouanga and three over Nashville SC's Sam Surridge.
