Ismaila Sarr has reportedly reached an agreement over his next move.

He has already attracted interest from Manchester United earlier this summer.

The Red Devils have already completed several additions as Michael Carrick reshapes his squad for the 2026/27 season.

Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans arrived to strengthen the midfield.

Karl Darlow and Kit Margetson joined to provide competition in goal.

United also completed a move for highly-rated winger Tynan Thompson as they continued investing in long-term talent.

However, the club explored further attacking options.

Manchester United made an enquiry for Sarr last month following his outstanding campaign with Crystal Palace.

The Senegal international scored 21 goals across 45 appearances as Palace lifted the UEFA Conference League.

He then carried that form into the 2026 World Cup.

The 28-year-old contributed four goals and one assist in only four matches.

Although United viewed him as a possible option rather than a priority target, fresh developments suggest the winger has now chosen his next destination.

Sarr reaches agreement over summer move

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Ismaila Sarr has reached an agreement to join Fenerbahce.

The Turkish giants, who have already signed former United forward Mason Greenwood, have been assessing further high-profile attackers as they looked to strengthen their depth in the final third.

Sarr appeared on three-man shortlist alongside Marcus Rashford and AC Milan star Rafael Leao.

Fenerbahce contacted the representatives of all three players to explore the conditions required for potential transfers.

Earlier reports suggested talks for Sarr and Leao had failed to progress, leaving the club prepared to spend heavily on Rashford.

However, the latest update now claims Sarr has agreed to make the move, potentially ending Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the United academy graduate.

United must therefore consider other attacking options should Carrick decide that another winger is required before the transfer window closes.
