Federico Dimarco has won praise for his performance in yesterday’s Serie A clash between Como and Inter Milan.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, hail the 27-year-old as Inter’s most dangerous player in their final Serie A match of the campaign.

Federico Dimarco started for Inter Milan in yesterday’s Serie A match of the season.

For the final match of the campaign, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi went with a heavily-rotated team.

The Inter coach also tinkered with the formation. He started a 3-4-2-1 shape for the second time in three matches.

Federico Dimarco had a vital role to play as one of the few regular starters in the Inter lineup.

In a somewhat unusual move, Inzaghi went with three players who typically play as left-wingbacks. Carlos Augusto started in the back three, while Nicola Zalewski played in attacking midfield.

But that left it to Dimarco to really be Inter’s driving force on the flank.

The Italian international proved to be exactly that.

As the Gazzetta note, Inter’s most dangerous opportunities tended to come down their left.

Dimarco’s pinpoint passes and deliveries were, as so often, the most effective weapon in the Nerazzurri’s arsenal.
