Real Madrid will play FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup Final this Sunday in Saudi Arabia, and many saw Los Blancos reach that stage without their top goalscorer of the season so far, Kylian Mbappe.
Real Madrid's goalscorers against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal were Federico Vaverde, through a free kick goal, and Rodrygo.
Mbappe was not included in the squad for the match against Atletico Madrid, but Xabi Alonso announced that the French star is better and will travel to Saudi Arabia to be part of the squad vs FC Barcelona.
After the injury, Mbappe has been training alone at the Valdebebas training ground in Madrid, and cameras caught the French star at an airport to travel to Saudi Arabia.
El CHiriniguito captured the moment where Kylian Mbappe was headed towards the airport to take a private flight to Saudi Arabia to join his Real Madrid teammates ahead of the FC Barcelona match this Sunday.
Mbappe signed shirts for some fans, but he was also asked if he would play against FC Barcelona.
Someone asked Mbappe for an update on his recovery from his injury, and he said, "I'm good, I'm good." Reports in Spain already suggest that Mbappe will play against Barcelona, but it is unclear whether he will start or not.
