Luis Henrique, Inter’s first new signing before the Club World Cup, will arrive this evening to undergo his medical before completing the €23m move from Olympique Marseille.

Negotiations have been going on for several months, giving the Nerazzurri a head start over other interested parties like Juventus, Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, the final cost of the operation is €23m in fixed fees, plus up to €2m in performance-related bonuses, based on Champions League progress.

Inter welcome new signing Luis Henrique

Luis Henrique is due to land at Malpensa airport in Milan this evening, then undergo the traditional medical tests on Tuesday.

He can then put pen to paper on a contract that runs to June 2030.

The 23-year-old Brazilian is primarily a right-sided attacking winger, who can also work on the left.

Luis Henrique joined Olympique Marseille in 2020 for €8m and had a loan spell at Botafogo from 2022 to December 2023.

He contributed nine goals and 10 assists in 35 competitive appearances for Marseille this season.

This transfer is made possible thanks to a special FIFA window introduced for the teams involved in the Club World Cup from mid-June to mid-July.
