Brentford manager Thomas Frank continues to be linked with Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Denmark manager has done an exceptional job at Brentford, and Tottenham are keen for him to replace Ange Postecoglou.

According to Graeme Bailey from TBR Football, the manager has met Tottenham multiple times, and they have held several rounds of talks regarding a summer move. The journalist claims that Frank is one of the first names on Daniel Levy’s wishlist.

The report also claims that he is now in the driving seat to land the Tottenham managerial job.

Bailey said: “Frank has always been in the mix – I am told he was one of the first names on Daniel Levy’s list.

“But in the last two weeks, he is the name that is coming up from so many different sources, it just can’t be ignored and there is little push back. Brentford are not saying much either – I believe they really fear they could be losing him.”

It remains to be seen whether all parties can finalise an agreement quickly. It is no secret that Spurs need to make a change this summer. Although they have won the UEFA Europa League, they were quite disappointing in the Premier League, and they finished 17th in the table. A new manager might be able to get the best out of their squad.

There is no doubt that Tottenham have a talented team, and the right manager could bring out the best in them.

For a club of their stature, finishing in the bottom half of the table is simply unacceptable. Tottenham will look to bounce back strongly, and they need to improve their squad and bring in a quality manager as well. They will be hoping to do well in the UEFA Champions League next season and fight for domestic trophies.

Frank has done an impressive job at Brentford with limited resources, and there is no doubt that he has the quality to thrive at Tottenham. He will hope to fight for trophies with quality players at the north London club. He will have the resources to bring in top-quality signings as well.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.
