Mason Greenwood could be on the move again this summer.

Reports have emerged that he has already reached an agreement over a potential transfer away from Marseille.

The former Manchester United forward enjoyed another productive campaign in France during the 2025/26 season.

Greenwood scored 26 goals and provided 11 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

However, fresh uncertainty has surrounded his future in recent weeks.

Marseille recently appointed a new sporting director, who suggested Greenwood could be sold if the right offer arrived.

This was despite the attacker being one of the club’s most important players.

Now, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, who has more than 2.2 million followers on X, claims an agreement has already been reached between Greenwood and a club preparing for Champions League football.

According to Sabuncuoglu, Mason Greenwood has agreed a four-year contract with Fenerbache.

The report states that presidential candidate Hakan Safi has secured an agreement with the 24-year-old.

However, any transfer would still require discussions between the clubs before becoming official.

Greenwood joined Marseille from Manchester United in the summer of 2024 and has rebuilt his career impressively in France.

His form over the last two seasons has naturally attracted interest from clubs across Europe.

BBC Sport recently reported that Fenerbache were among the clubs interested in signing the Marseille forward.

Sabuncuoglu’s latest update suggests the Turkish giants have moved a significant step closer to completing a deal.

Should the transfer go through, Greenwood would be joining a side expected to compete in the Champions League qualifiers next season.

The Turkish giants finished second in the Super Lig, just three points behind champions Galatasaray.

The move would also see the former United star link up with one of the biggest clubs in Turkish football as they attempt to close the gap on their fierce rivals domestically and make an impact in Europe.

For now, there has been no official confirmation from either club.

Sabuncuoglu’s report indicated that Greenwood has already given the green light to the proposed move.

Attention will now turn towards whether Marseille and Fenerbache can agree a transfer fee.
