Milan secure ‘pre-emption right’ with Chelsea for Joao Felix – the situation

Joao Felix was one of three deadline day arrivals for AC Milan in a busy winter transfer window, and there is already talk of trying to make his loan permanent.

Calciomercato.com begin a report by stating that ‘the light of the Portuguese talent has already illuminated the attacking phase’ for Milan. He scored on his debut against Roma with a nice lob over the goalkeeper, and showed off more of his tricks and desire to make things happen against Empoli.

Felix is ‘a player constantly on a mission towards aesthetic perfection’ which is a contrast to the pleas of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who asks him to be clinical in front of goal, to be one of the catalysts for a charge back to the Champions League.

However, the Swede’s eyes light up when he talks about the Portugal international, partly because of the success of the late operation to bring him in from Chelsea but also partly because he knows Milan have a maverick player, in the Kaka mould and eager to show his best.

Joao Felix has also united with a coach who really wanted him in Sergio Conceicao. The relationship between the two is special despite this being their first working experience together and tonight the forward should be confirmed in the starting line-up.
