New manager Cristian Chivu is hellbent on getting Inter Milan back on track following a heartbreaking 2024/25 season.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, tactical flexibility could be key to Inter’s resurgence under the Romanian.

Inter had been synonymous with tactical rigidness under Simone Inzaghi.

Indeed, the 49-year-old insisted on a 3-5-2 set-up and was quite stubborn about it.

However, Inzaghi is now part of the club’s history, with Chivu eager to turn Inter’s fortunes around.

Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram have been critical to Inter’s success over the past two years.

However, the Romanian tactician is considering switching to a single center-forward.

Therefore, players like Luis Henrique could get a prominent role next term.
