This category is among the most competitive of all the awards. All six nominees were impressive with their clubs last season, but the PFA announced the winner. The winner of the award is Morgan Rogers at Aston Villa, who scored eight goals and provided 10 assists.

2024/25 Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year award

The PFA announced that Olivia Smith has won the 2024/25 Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year award after an impressive debut season at Liverpool, where she scored seven goals in 20 appearances. She is the first Canadian to win a PFA award.

She joined Arsenal this summer for a fee worth $1.3 million; the deal became the most expensive signing in women's football.
