Rasmus Hojlund and Patrick Dorgu helped Denmark to secure a comfortable 6-0 victory against Belarus on Thursday night.

The striker, currently out on loan from Manchester United, netted twice in the opening 45 minutes to help his side take control early on.

Hojlund also set up Patrick Dorgu for Denmark’s fourth goal before half-time, giving them a 4-0 lead at the break.

Christian Eriksen, ex-United midfielder, came off the bench after the restart as they finished the job with two more goals in the second half.

Hojlund has scored seven goals in his last eight appearances, split between club and international duty – three for Denmark and four for Napoli.

Prior to the match, Denmark manager Brian Riemer was asked whether Hojlund is better suited to the Premier League or Serie A.

He told Tipsbladet that it did not really matter which league he was playing in, as long as he was getting good service.

Against Belarus, Hojlund had plenty of chances. He found the net with both of his shots on target but missed out on a hat-trick by sending three others wide.

The striker played for 77 minutes, while Dorgu remained on the field for the entire 90 minutes.
