Real Madrid will return to the Santiago Bernabeu for their La Liga match against Sevilla today. Real Madrid and Sevilla are 19 points apart in the league table.

Real Madrid is second in the table with 39 points after 17 league matches played, and their record is 12 wins, three draws, and two losses. Sevilla is 9th in the table with 20 points and has a record of six wins, two draws, and eight losses.

Both teams played in the Copa Del Rey Round of 32 during the week, with Real Madrid advancing to the Round of 16 and Sevilla being eliminated.

Sevilla lost 1-0 to Deportivo Alaves in the Copa Del Rey, while Real Madrid defeated CF Talavera de la Reina 3-2 with two goals from Kylian Mbappe and an own goal from Manuel Farrando.

In their previous La Liga match, Sevilla defeated Real Oviedo 4-0 at home last weekend. Akor Adams, Djibril Sow, Batista Mendy, and Chidera Ejuke scored in Sevilla's home win.

Real Madrid defeated Deportivo Alaves 2-1 away from home last weekend with goals from Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo.

The last time Real Madrid and Sevilla played each other in La Liga was last season on May 18, 2025. Real Madrid won 2-0 away from home with goals from Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
