Bologna are reportedly eyeing up a move for Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

This according to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Rossoblu have balked at Inter’s €18 million asking price, but could seek a loan deal.

Inter Milan are seemingly determined to offload midfielder Kristjan Asllani this summer.

It has now been three years since the Albanian joined the Nerazzurri from Empoli in the summer of 2023.

And during that time, Asllani has never really managed to stake a place for himself in the Inter squad.

Furthermore, Asllani does not figure into the plans of new Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu. Particularly considering the coach’s desire to switch to a 3-4-2-1 shape, a formation that doesn’t really suite Asllani.

Bologna Eyeing Up A Move For Inter Midfielder Kristjan Asllani

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna are seriously thinking about a move for Asllani.

And the Emilian club are a destination that the player himself would welcome.

So far, Asllani has turned down all offers that have come in for him, including from Sassuolo.

However, Asllani would be happy with a switch to Bologna. Particularly as this would entail playing in the Europa League next season.

Inter are asking for a fee of €18 million to sell the 23-year-old this summer.

And that is more than Bologna are willing to pay.

However, in the next few days, the Gazzetta report that the Rossoblu could try to secure a loan deal for Asllani.
