Serie A runners-up Inter Milan have reportedly added Feyenoord star David Hancko to their list of defensive targets.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 27-year-old has emerged as the latest idea to strengthen Cristian Chivu’s backline.

Indeed, the San Siro giants are in the market for a new center-back.

Despite identifying Parma’s Giovanni Leoni as a top target, the teenage sensation comes with a prohibitive asking price.

Therefore, Chivu’s men have set their sights on Genoa’s Koni De Winter, though he won’t come cheap either.

Genoa won’t let the 23-year-old leave for less than €25 million.

Inter Milan Consider Summer Swoop for Feyenoord Ace David Hancko

With Leoni currently out of Inter’s price range, the Italian heavyweights are assessing other options.

Hancko has drawn the club’s attention despite fierce competition.

Indeed, Inter would likely have to beat several Premier League teams and Atletico Madrid to sign the ex-Fiorentina defender.

Furthermore, Feyenoord have slapped a €30m price tag on their prized asset.

Meanwhile, Hancko’s potential arrival will not depend on Francesco Acerbi’s future at San Siro.

Inter are unwilling to pay €500,000 to terminate the veteran’s contract and may keep him until the end of next season.
