Inter Milan have reportedly rejected another offer from Napoli for prodigious center-forward Francesco Pio Esposito.
According to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, Napoli’s second bid for the striker has fallen on Inter’s deaf ears.
Indeed, the Serie A runners-up are keen to keep Francesco Pio Esposito at the club after a remarkable season at Spezia.
Though only 20, he could be one of Cristian Chivu’s most valuable assets in the upcoming season.
Napoli’s first offer for Esposito fell short of Inter’s demands earlier this summer.
In the meantime, Cristian Chivu has taken the Italian striker off the market.
Furthermore, he plans to hand Esposito a prominent role in 2025/26 at the expense of Mehdi Taremi.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri won’t discuss his exit.
With that in mind, Napoli never had a chance despite tabling a substantial €45 million bid.
Esposito is reportedly a dream signing for Aurelio De Laurentiis, but Inter will not let the Partenopei complete the transfer.
As such, the Serie A champions have received an immediate response from the Nerazzurri – a resounding ‘no.’
