Report – Lightning-Fast Belgium Striker Open To Joining Inter Milan After RB Leipzig Failed To Qualify For Champions League

RB Leipzig superstar Lois Openda is reportedly open to joining Inter Milan this summer to continue competing in the UEFA Champions League.

Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 25-year-old will listen to the San Siro club’s proposal.

Openda has emerged as the newest option for Inter after the Nerazzurri walked away from Rasmus Hojlund.

Indeed, the former Lens striker could be a massive coup for the Serie A side, though Leipzig would ideally keep hold of him.

Despite Leipzig’s household status in the Bundesliga, they failed to secure a top-four finish last term.

Therefore, they may have to brace themselves for several high-profile departures.

However, the Germans have already set a substantial €35 million price tag on the Belgian forward.

Meanwhile, Inter may try to get a discount, relying on the player’s desire to play in the Champions League.

Unlike Lazio, Inter can offer Openda the lure of Europe’s elite competition after finishing as runners-up in Serie A.
