Report: Tottenham ready to pay up for exceptional dribbler 'everyone loves'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in the Manchester City attacking midfielder James McAtee this summer. 

According to a report from GMS, the player is valued at £40 million, and Tottenham do not have any problems with the asking price. It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done. 

He is capable of slotting into the attacking midfield role as well as on the flanks. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and find the back of the net as well. McAtee has been labelled as an exceptional dribbler by Carl Asaba. 

Meanwhile, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has previously claimed that the 22-year-old is a player “everyone loves”. He could be a long-term asset for Tottenham, and it will be interesting to see if they can sign him.  

James Maddison is sidelined with an injury, and they need an alternative. The Manchester City star could be the ideal acquisition. He needs regular gametime, and the move to North London would be ideal for him as well.
