Report – Two Inter Milan Targets Close To Joining Liverpool & Manchester City

Inter Milan targets Gianluigi Donnarumma and Giovanni Leoni could soon join Manchester City and Liverpool.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Italian giants are close to ending up empty-handed.

It shapes up to be a summer of missed opportunities for Inter.

Indeed, after missing out on the signature of Koni De Winter, the Nerazzurri could let two other targets slip through.

For starters, Gianluigi Donnarumma is close to leaving Paris Saint-Germain after falling out with the club.

However, instead of joining Inter, the 26-year-old goalkeeper could link up with Manchester City.

Yet, the Citizens cannot sign the Italian star before sorting out Ederson’s future at the Etihad.

Inter Milan Targets Donnarumma & Leoni Set to Join Man City & Liverpool

Donnarumma would’ve been an ideal long-term replacement for Yann Sommer.

However, Man City have already laid the groundwork for his arrival.

Leoni’s rumored transfer to Anfield hurts even more, considering how desperate Inter have been to sign him.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu has urged the club to sign the 18-year-old prodigy after taking over the reins.

A shortage of funds could, unfortunately, hinder the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of the promising young talent.

Leoni has already agreed to join Liverpool.
